TOTE Services has initiated the assembly of a nationwide shipbuilding and supplier network to support the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps' Medium Landing Ship program, a $2.2 billion undertaking. This effort brings together more than 30 shipbuilders, suppliers, and industry partners to collaborate on the project.
The Medium Landing Ship program aims to replace the Navy's aging Landing Ship, Air Cushion (LSAC) fleet. By mobilizing a diverse network of shipbuilders and suppliers, TOTE Services aims to leverage the collective expertise and resources of the industry to deliver the new landing ships efficiently and effectively. The program's success will depend on the ability of the shipbuilding community to work together and adapt to the Navy's evolving requirements.
