Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) personnel will receive above-inflation pay increases and improved leave benefits after maritime trade unions accepted a new agreement with the UK government aimed at supporting recruitment and retention in the fleet.
The deal, which covers RFA mariners, includes pay rises that exceed inflation rates, as well as enhanced leave entitlements. This move is seen as a significant step in addressing the challenges faced by the RFA in attracting and retaining skilled personnel.
