ABS and Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) have announced two significant milestones in the development of floating data centers, marking a major step forward in the industry's pursuit of sustainable and efficient data storage solutions. The advancements are part of a series of innovative agreements following the opening of the Korea-U.S. Shipbuilding Partnership.
The two companies have successfully designed and developed 50 MW and 200 MW floating data center concepts, showcasing their commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the field of floating data centers.
