Requirements:

• USCG Mate’s License (minimum 500 tons) required


• Ability to stand watch and manage the operation of the vessel as directed by the Captain


• Supervise and direct deck personnel during fishing operations


• Other duties as assigned by the Captain or management

Key Responsibilities:

• Stand watch and manage the operation of the vessel


• Supervise and direct deck personnel during fishing operations


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies


• Perform other duties as assigned by the Captain or management

Working Conditions:

Work will be performed on a commercial fishing vessel, which may be subject to varying weather conditions and long hours at sea.

Qualifications:

• USCG Mate’s License (minimum 500 tons)


• Ability to work at sea for extended periods


• Ability to supervise and direct deck personnel


• Strong communication and leadership skills

Education and Certifications:

• USCG Mate’s License (minimum 500 tons)


• Other certifications as required by the USCG or company policies
