Description

Servexo provides fully integrated security solutions utilizing advanced technologies and highly trained personnel. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Ship Security Watchstander.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain the security of the vessel, including surveillance of the vessel's surroundings and monitoring of security systems.

Respond to security breaches and other security-related incidents.

Conduct regular security patrols of the vessel and its surroundings.

Participate in security drills and training exercises.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Master or Chief Officer.

Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident.

Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

Must be able to pass a physical examination and obtain a medical certificate in accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW).

Must be able to obtain a valid Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security clearance.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must have completed a security awareness training program approved by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a security watchstander or in a related field.

Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.

Ability to work at sea for extended periods of time.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
