Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maritime Recruitment Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment and hiring process for our maritime staff, ensuring that we attract and retain the best talent in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the recruitment and hiring process for maritime staff, including Cadets, Engineers, Officers, and crew members.


• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the maritime industry.


• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.


• Source and screen candidates, conducting interviews and reference checks as needed.


• Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and certification requirements, including STCW, MLC, and ISM.


• Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement recruitment marketing campaigns.


• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or Maritime Studies.


• Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment or a related field, preferably in the maritime industry.


• Proven track record of successfully managing recruitment and hiring processes.


• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and certification requirements, including STCW, MLC, and ISM.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.


• Professional certifications in recruitment or human resources, such as SHRM or HRCI.


• Experience working with vessel types, including expedition ships, cruise ships, and sailing vessels.


• Knowledge of maritime software and systems, including crew management and recruitment platforms.
