Job Description
Shore Tankerman Credential / Education Requirements
The following requirements must be met to be considered for this position:
- Valid Merchant Mariner's Credential (MMC): Issued by the U.S. Coast Guard
- Valid Medical Certificate: Issued by a U.S. Coast Guard-approved medical examiner
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC): Issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
Additional requirements may include working at vessels alongside dock at refineries and chemical plants.
