Learning and Development Manager

Location: Manila, Philippines (Note: Utah is a state in the United States, Manila is a city in the Philippines)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of learning programs for seafarers, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement learning programs for seafarers, including training plans, curricula, and assessments


• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, company standards, and industry best practices


• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training programs


• Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to identify training gaps and areas for improvement


• Develop and maintain relationships with training providers and vendors


• Monitor and report on training program effectiveness and ROI

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, training, or a related field)


• Certifications: Master Mariner or Chief Officer certification (STCW, MLC, etc.)


• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maritime training and development, with a focus on seafarer training

Working Conditions:
