Physical Demands:
- Light to Moderate.
Please refer to the USCG Merchant Mariner Medical and Physical Examination Requirements for Form CG-719K.
- Must be able to pass the CG Water Safety Class.
- OR, be Navy 2nd Class Swimmer qualified.
Work Environment:
At sea, on a variety of vessel types, including but not limited to:
- Container Ships
- Tankers
- Cruise Ships
- Offshore Supply Vessels
- Passenger Vessels
Certifications and Qualifications:
- Valid USCG Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC)
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Valid Passport
Rank and Experience:
- Cadet
- Engineer
- Master
- Bosun
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work at sea for extended periods of time
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and qualifications
