Ward Line

Ward Line historically specialized in transatlantic passenger and mail conveyance, operating from New York City’s Piers 15, 16, and 17. Founded in 1841 as the New York and Cuba Mail Steamship Company, its core operations connected the pivotal market of New York with key Caribbean destinations including Nassau, Havana, and various Mexican Gulf ports. After a brief name change to the Cuba Mail Line, service was restored post-WWII, maintaining transoceanic routes until 1954.
