Pacific Forum Line↗ (PFL), founded in 1977, operates a dedicated regional maritime network across Polynesia, delivering containerized cargo, bulk commodities, and refrigerated goods on a fleet of versatile feeder vessels that navigate key island ports. Originally instituted by the Pacific Islands Forum in 1976 to guarantee reliable intra‑Pacific trade, the line was nationalized by the Samoan government↗ in 2012 and now functions as a joint venture with Neptune Pacific Line, enhancing operational resilience and service frequency. PFL’s strategic hub in Samoa coordinates scheduling, cargo consolidation, and interline connections, supporting regional economic integration and fostering sustainable maritime logistics and compliance standards.
