Jahre Line

Jahre Line, a Norwegian shipping company with a rich history of maritime operations, boasted a diverse fleet comprising various vessel classes. Established in 1961, the company's inaugural vessels included MT Jacinth and MS Kronprins Harald (1), with the latter operating until 1975. Further expansions saw the introduction of MS Prinsesse Ragnhild (1) and MS Wesertal through charter agreements. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Jahre Line's fleet grew to include MS Suffolk, MS Janina, and MS Jalina, with the latter being chartered for a short period. Over its operational lifespan, Jahre Line leveraged multiple vessels, including MS Kronprins Harald (2), MS Kronprins Harald (3), and MS Prinsesse Ragnhild (2), to establish itself as a prominent player in Norwegian maritime logistics.
