Bornholmertrafikken A/S

Bornholmertrafikken A/S, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Rønne, Denmark, served as a dedicated maritime ferry operator managing ro-ro passenger services linking Bornholm to mainland Denmark, Sweden and Germany across three international corridors under the BornholmerFærgen name. Renamed from Bornholmstrafikken in 2011 upon becoming a subsidiary of Danske Færger, the company integrated its vessel operations into a broader Danish ferry portfolio focused purely on short-sea shipping. Until 2018, it sustained critical island freight and passenger connectivity before Molslinjen A/S acquired the route concession, rebranding it Bornholmslinjen as noted on Wikipedia↗ and Molslinjen↗. The Rønne-based entity retains its maritime corporate heritage.
