Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) personnel will receive above-inflation pay increases and improved leave benefits after maritime trade unions accepted a new agreement with the UK government aimed at supporting recruitment and retention in the fleet.
The deal, which was negotiated between the RFA and the maritime industry's leading trade unions, includes pay rises that exceed the current rate of inflation, as well as enhanced leave entitlements for RFA personnel. The agreement is seen as a significant step forward in supporting the RFA's efforts to attract and retain skilled mariners, who play a critical role in supporting the UK's naval operations.
