Korea's SK Shipping and H-Line Shipping are set to merge their tanker fleets and contracts, creating a new LNG giant.
The move, which involves swapping tankers and contracts between the two companies, will see them become one of the world's largest operators of liquefied natural gas carriers. The companies, both owned by private equity firm Hahn & Co., are looking to capitalize on the growing demand for LNG and strengthen their position in the global market.
