India's embassy in Tehran has confirmed that a liquefied petroleum gas tanker, with 28 Indian crew members onboard, came under attack in Iranian territorial waters on Friday.
The embassy stated that it is in close contact with authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of the crew, who have reportedly been accounted for and are safe.
