Damen Shipyards Group has launched the second in a series of two Commissioning Service Operations Vessels (CSOV) 9020 for Ta San Shang Marine Co., Ltd. (TSSM). The company, a joint venture between ships operator TSSM and ship owner/operator TSL, will operate the vessels in the ship maintenance and repair market.
The CSOV 9020 is a purpose-built ship designed to provide commissioning services for offshore wind farms and other ships. The vessel features a 150-tonne crane, a 300-tonne lift capacity, and a 300-meter-long ship maintenance deck. The ship is also equipped with a dynamic positioning system, allowing it to maintain its position in harsh weather conditions.
